Alex Arthur

(born June 26, 1978 in Edinburgh) - Scottish boxer, former world champion professional organizations in the W BO junior lightweight (130 pounds). Professional career started i n November 2000. Suffered a first defeat in October 2003, in his seventeenth fight, losing by technical knockout in the fifth round with Michael Gomez [1]. In 2004-2006, he won eight consecutive fights. July 21, 2007 he defeated by technical knockout Georgian Gogoladze Kobe and won the title of the provisional organization of the WBO world champion in the junior lightweight [2].
